Play Pen Liners.
Our round liners are perfect for your pop-up pens or playpens as most have 6-8 sides I decided a round would be best for all of them. To get the right size, order a larger size (for example 80cm diameter get a 90cm). The reason we recommend this is that it will go up the side a little and cover all corners.
Our Fleece Cage Liners:
Say goodbye to smelly wood shavings or hay forever! Say hello to Teacup Nethies fleece cage liners, made with TWO layers of polar fleece and ONE layer of 5mm thick non-toxic absorbent Thus helping to keep your guinea pig, rabbit or rodent’s cage dry and comfortable. It does this by wicking away moisture from the fleece and drawing it into the absorbent core. so it keeps the smell down. Thus no more smelly, gross wood shavings or hay to clean out. Not to mention, it just looks amazing at the same time.
Super Absorbent - Our non-toxic absorbent Center Highly absorbent. It absorbs moisture away from the fleece layer to keep the fleece and small animal’s feet dry. The dryness minimizes the chance of Bumble Foot / Sore Hocks (Ulcerative pododermatitis) and Urine Burn/Scald. Which can be life-threatening for small animals.
The fabric patterns and choices are way more fun and funky than boring old wood shavings and newspaper. You can even mix and match with other products like potty pads and cuddle sacks, cosy beds, and hides.
The liners are handmade with love and care by me on the Mid North Coast (NSW) of Australia. It is suitable for rabbits, ferrets, rats, and guinea pigs, even for dogs and cat pens.
The upfront cost may look daunting, but these liners are reusable for months, even years. Saving you a lot $$$ in the long run.
Plus, our pets deserve the best!
I spot clean the cage every day or second daily if you wish. Using a handheld vacuum or dustpan and brush picking up any little mess that has missed the litter tray, or rolling it up and shacking outside and if not wet I’ll flip it over so the other side used before washing. Change and wash the liners between 5-7 days, depending on how many pets you have. Also, if toilet trained, they last longer.
How to care for your fleece cage liner
They will last hundreds of washes if used correctly.
Please refrain from using softeners and dryer sheets, as this will stop them from wicking as they should. The idea is to let the liquid pass through the fleece to the absorbent core in the middle. The fleece stays dry. YOU MUST wash before it will wick (around 3 times). Machine washable on cool gentle wash and dryer friendly on a cool setting, but we recommend line drying in the shade to extend the life of the liner. REMEMBER, YOU MUST wash the liner before use.
Tip: Use potty pad in high-traffic areas such as a under a toilet tray or a water bottle.
Please note: This is a handmade product, so pattern placement will vary and there can be movement in the fabric. All caution is taken to quality check your items before shipping.
